Directions for use: After each breastfeeding or expressing session, leave a couple of breastmilk drops in each cup and apply directly to the nipple. The silver healing properties are activated using your breastmilk, no other creams are needed prior to applying the cups. Wash with warm soapy water after each use and pat dry with a clean towel, no need to sterilize.
Cups may tarnish over time due to the natural oxidisation process that occurs in silver, however it is still safe and effective to use. To remove the tarnish, make a paste using a mix of bicarbonate of soda (one teaspoon) with a few drops of water. Rub the paste over the cups, rinse and pat dry. Do not wash Silverette in the dishwasher. Please keep away from heat sources.
